ABBA World!!!

I have just been to Melbourne for a few days and had a blast!! My bosses are the best! I stayed in a beautiful hotel in the middle of the city and once I had done the work thing - well I got to go to ABBA World :) I don't really know what I expected but I had a ball!! I sang and danced with ABBA (I know scarey) and basically made a fool of myself - I had soooooo much fun and all I could think was Rylea would have loved it :)

Dad's Girls

I gave Dad 3 chooks for Father's Day he thinks they are great!! He talks to them and pats them and they gave him 2 eggs - he is proud as punch (his words). (*)>

Father's Day

The Father's Day party was all Boyd's idea (make sure everyone ask him how much fun he had) with an Italian theme. Geez can our family cook we had pizza, lasagne, garlic bread all different types of pasta dishes and then there was desert - Aunty Dawn made apple pie and we had trifle and mud cake and ice-cream. We all had trouble walking (rolling) afterwards YUM YUM YUM!!! Happy Father's Day to all Dads!!!!

Kane's 1st Birthday

We we couldn't let a little thing like Kane being in Perth stop us from having a 1st Birthday party!! Skype is fantastic it's almost like we are all together ... sort of :)

Girl's Day at the Hairdresser

Rachael, Rylea and I decided it was hairdresser time!! Rylea thought it was great she had her first cut, wash and blow dry. Rylea is becoming such a little lady :)

St John's Boardwalk

Dad and Boyd have just finished doing a 300m board walk through the bush for St John's College. What a job!!! They had to put in a bridge and trudge sleepers and posts from one end to the other (Brad gave them a hand with the sleepers). I saw it from the bottom and it just kept going up and up. It's a boarwalk for the High School kids to walk to their oval (they have been taking a bus) I think I would get to the bottom and need the bus back!!!

Slack!!!

Cupcakes!!!!

Rylea and I made cupcakes today and had an absolute ball!! Rylea is a great little cook and decorator! The first problem we had was how Rylea was going to reach the bench - easy fix Great Great Grandmas benches and she was able to walk from counter to counter. The next problem was Uncle Boyd :) Of course he turns up when the job is done and decides he wants to help (eat). He got icing everywhere, on his face, Ryleas face and then he topped it off by head butting Rylea and making her cry. Sometimes I wonder who the child is :D

I think we did a good job and had a lot of fun :D

Jovi's Birthday

Well there was no way we were going to let Jovi's 1st Birthday pass without a party. We may have celebrated over skype but we still had fun. We even had birthday cake and blew out the candles :D

Sunshine Coast Show

Show weekend!! Rylea had an absolute ball. She patted every animal she could find even after the chicken peed on her :D Kane was in awe he didn't know where to look and Rachael and I were exhausted!! That night we had and an A-Team night and once Rylea got off her sugar rush, we all slept like babies :D

2nd State of Origin Game

What a great night!! First we ate soup, then we DESTROYED NSW and then we finished the night with cheesecake!! (sucked in Ben from Rex)

Papa & Boydy Day Care

Would you trust these 2 with your children? They LOVE time with Papa and Boydy it's a battle to get them to go home!! Sometimes I wonder who is the bigger child :) Don't worry no children were hurt in the making of this blog :D

Mum and Gary's Last Night

We had a BBQ at the beach for Mum and Gary's last night. As you can see from the photos we had a great time!!

What an exciting day we had today?!! First Ben and Jackie forget their computers so Rachael and I made a mad dash to the airport. Then we caught up with Nikki at Strathpine. Then we had need of Dr Rylea's doctoring skills! Rachael took a tumble while picking Rylea up from school. After making sure she and Kane were ok, I then had a chuckle, but nothing was funnier than Rylea fixing mummy all up!!

Ben, Jackie & Jovi's Last Night in Australia

We had so much fun last night!! All the Sing Stars come out and sang - we may not sound any good but we know how to have a good time. The music was blaring, the food was great and Boyd kept the marshmallows flowing. A great night was had by all!!

Goodbye Ben, Jackie and Jovi! Can't wait until you guys move here!! (hehehehe) We will all miss them heaps!! They obviously really don't want to leave they forgot Jovi's juice bottle and both their computers!

Just a little something I left for the NSW supporters at work. I know they will love it!! :D

State Of Origin

Well it's that time of year again when the Toads take on the Cockroaches, for the honour of showing NSW that QLD are superior!! Yes, QLD beat NSW and what a great night we had! We started with a little singstar and ended with a NSW thrashing! I love this time of year :D

We had pizza and damper that we cooked on the fire ourselves (I think Jackie's turning a little Aussie) and of course the traditional marshmallows! Thanks everyone for a great night!

The boys decided to make Jackies favourite cookies for us. They found one problem though - we had no sultanas!! Being the clever boys they are, they decided to put their minds together and come up with a sloution - dried apples and strawberries! Needless to say they were interesting! It was hilarious!!!! Boyd found all the ingredients (and our secret staff of choc mint cookies) and they went on a search for the largest mixing bowl they could find. We left them to it, being the professionals they all are, they knew exactly what utensils to use - Ben decided salad servers were far better than a wooden spoon! They actually turned out alright and if they had used the oven timer they probably would have been great!

We had family photos done on the weekend and we had soooooo much fun!! A special thanks to Kurtis for taking them and putting them on disc - you are the best!! A very special thanks to Aunty Robyn for making us laugh :D I think they turned out great. We take for granted how pretty our back yard is, we are very lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
